Our paper on acoustic communities of secondary channels in the Rhône river was just pulbished in scientific reports. This research reveals that acoustic community composition is related to lateral connectivity to the main river.
Our research on the acoustic activity of the loudest bugs on earth was just published on line in Freshwater Biology. In this paper, we show that vegetation, temperature and noise affect the acoustic activity of the whole population of Micronecta scholtzi.
I am presenting a talk in the symposium “Ecoacoustics methods for continuous freshwater monitoring” at SFS2018 in Detroit. Come along to hear about underwater sounds!
