Our research on the acoustic activity of the loudest bugs on earth was just published on line in Freshwater Biology. In this paper, we show that vegetation, temperature and noise affect the acoustic activity of the whole population of Micronecta scholtzi.

Special Session accepted for the SFS in Detroit

I am glad to announce that the special section proposed together with Simon Linke (Griffith University, Australia) and Ben Gottesman (Purdue University, USA) and entitled “Ecoacoustics methods for continuous freshwater monitoring” was just accepted at the Society for Freshwater Science annual meeting.
