Congratulations to Théophile for a fantastic thesis defense on the phenomenology of sonic microcosms. He exposed his work in October at the cité du cinéma in Saint-Denis (some pictures below). I can’t wait to see and hear what he gets up to next!

I presented my research for the workshop on “Le vivant comme vecteur d’observation” organized by the CNRS and the OASU lab in Bordeaux. Thanks Arnaud Elger for the invitation, it was two days of fascinating discussions!

I presented a talk entitled ‘10% more divergent: social plasticity enhances signal-preference differences between two species’ to the ESEB satellite meeting on Reproductive Isolation organized by Sean Stakowski, Anja Westram, Parvathy Surendranadh, Mark Ravinet and Nick Barton.

I have just arrived at the CEREEP to run an experiment with Emilie Rojas, Vincent Médoc, Simon Agostini, Vincent Felten and Michael Danger on the sounds of organic matter decomposition. My stay is supported by a transnational access of AQUACOSM PLUS Looking forwards to the results of this exciting project!
